Church Partnerships and Local Ministry Presence
Our response was carried out with local churches on the ground, ensuring personal, compassionate, and contextual care.
- Kal-anan Valley Church (Tabogon) led a combined relief and Gospel sharing gathering.
- Gracepoint Medellin facilitated distribution and pastoral support.
- Bogo Presbyterian Church handled community coordination and prayer ministry.
We praise God for pastors, leaders, and volunteers who served faithfully and joyfully amid the situation.
Thanksgiving and Acknowledgments
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to churches, classes, families, individuals, and partners who quickly responded with prayers and financial support.
Your generosity is a testimony of our shared calling to carry one another’s burdens in Christ.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”
Galatians 6:2
To God alone be the glory.
Continuing Response
We continue to:
- Monitor the situation with our local church leaders.
- Assess needs for shelter repair, counseling, and livelihood support.
- Prepare for potential aftershocks and future disaster readiness workshops.
We also encourage families and churches to prepare their own Go Bags as part of disaster preparedness and care for one another.
Conclusion
This response reflects the heart of diakonia — a ministry of presence, compassion, stewardship, and shared life in Christ. As we continue to serve, may we remain rooted in gratitude, unity, and readiness to respond where God calls us.
Thank you for partnering with us.
Padayon ta sa pag-alagad.
To God be the glory.
