The Christian Reformed Youth Movement or CRYM is the Youth Ministry of CRCP

WHO WE ARE

Mission:

CRYM exists to ensure the spiritual growth and maturity of young people in the CRCP through a vibrant youth movement which caters to them and connects them to the bigger CRCP community.

Vision:

CRYM envisions to be a visible, active, and influential youth organization that proclaims the sovereignty of God and the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We help the youth to:​

  • Know God more and have a deeper relationship with Him;
  • Become rooted Christians and willing servants;
  • Rejoice in enjoyable truth; andΒ 
  • Impart the knowledge of God.

Venue: Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary (Murcia, Negros Occidental)
Target Campers: CRYM officers / youth leaders
Attendees: 123 campers and staff combined from all Visayas classes; surpassed our target of 80 participants

  • Exposition 1: Planted, led by Rev. Ignacio EspaΓ±ola, emphasized using God-given gifts to serve Him and others faithfully.
  • Exposition 2: Rooted, led by Rev. Elaseo CaΓ±ete, highlighted growing spiritually and building a strong foundation of faith in God.
  • Exposition 3: Thrive, led by Rev. Ruben Orteza Jr., focused on resilience, perseverance, and thriving in ministry leadership.
  • Exposition 4: Flourish, led by Rev. Himmler Borrero, encouraged participants to flourish in ministry through teamwork, service, and faithfulness, guided by 1 Peter 4:10–11.

The overseer for the National CRYM Officers is the National Adviser. They also report to the CRCP Board of Trustees. Each Classes CRYM also have their own Classis Adviser, assigned from the Pastors and Elders of their Classis.

Let's uphold our Youth in prayer

Let’s commit to praying for our youth regularly. Here are some prayer points to consider:

  • Praise God for the CRYM Luzon Leaders’ Retreat, held last January 3-4, 2025, at Agape Life Camp, Amadeo, Cavite; total participants were 114 from five Classes in Luzon; pray that the participants will continue to serve the Lord in their different CRYM ministries

  • Pray for the planning and preparation of the CRYM Visayas Youth Camp

  • Pray for the different Classes CRYM regular ministries, fellowships, Bible studies, evangelism efforts, training and mentoring activities
